about

We finally come to the end of my involvement in the International Electronic Music Association's Group Tape Project. Tape #6 was the last collective album that I put together; I believe Jim Finch made two more, but the tapes #7 and #8 were lost in an apartment accident years ago.

This collection of music features tracks from Chris Gross, Peter Kaminski, Dave Butler, Lauri Paisley, Dave Lunt (from Nightcrawlers fame) and myself (Ken Moore). I know Dave Lunt has been active still, but the only other person I have had contact with in the last few years is Chris Gross.

This was certainly an exciting time during the early 1980s, if not a very trying time for myself personally. Having gotten involved in a progressive rock band, my interests became divided and my contributions to the IEMA swiftly dropped off.

It is my sincere desire that many people will listen and download these early recordings (made from the original cassette tapes themselves). It was an adventurous time for all of us, and the beginning of a lifelong commitment to music for others. Enjoy!
